Valledoria is a small town on the northern coast of Sardinia, near the medieval village of Castelsardo. The tourist center, located on the Golfo dell’Asinara, is a destination for naturalistic and seaside tourism.
The area offers several attractions, first of all the waters of the Coghinas lake. The Valledoria beach, in fact, is a lake area along the shore of the Coghinas, an important Sardinian river.
In Valledoria the starring role is the artichoke, the primary cultivation of the country and around which various events of the local gastronomy develop.
